Bio
Anup Singh is a doctoral candidate at Ghent University in Belgium and a member of the speech group of IDLab, led by Prof. Kris Demuynck. He graduated from IISER-Kolkata with a BS-MS in Mathematics. He is currently on a long-term research visit to IIT Kanpur, where he is co-supervised by Prof. Vipul Arora. His specific research interests include representation learning, hashing, search algorithms, and deep learning to build robust and scalable audio retrieval systems. In his spare time, he enjoys learning about geopolitics and reading books.
